To be honest the drug culture in the rave scene is not that bad. I have been a promoter for metal and rock. The drug scene within those music genres is fucking SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!! You have to deal with meth and fucking people shooting up. NOT COOL. At least with e-tards they are cuddling against a wall and you can give thema light show to keep them happy. I always crack up at raves when I hear raves say " HEY! LET'S GO SEE IF WE CAN FIND A LIGHT SHOW!!!???" It's so awesome. Light shows at raves are like beer at a football game. Easy to come by and you can get hella faded by them.

I have nothing against the drugs, and yes drugs are culture in the rave community. I tried getting in to that metal show at the CH at TTLG. I hella wanted to get up there and get brutal in the pit, but I wasn't going to pay $5... I always tell my friends that before the nights over, they need to go find a good lightshow. Not one that just mesmerizes them (that's easy when you're rolling hard) but one that trips them the fuck out.

global warming might not have anything to do with the bees, but did you guys know that all the scientists are hella scared because the climate change is actually changing the seasons? spring started like 2 weeks earlier, and it's messing with migrating animals and whatnot. there was an article in the chronicle about it a couple weeks ago. scary...

Actually yes it does. Drastic sudden weather changes do to global warming effect their population. The constant change in hot and cold weather kills many bees because they are use to consistant weather patterns. Animals are creatures of habit. They base migration, and day to day life on what has happened repeatedly years before. Global warming does factor into the bees dying off. When you cut a warm season short or start it too soon it effects their pattern of life.Not only that but with weather conditions changing rapidly back and forth things that kill off bees like certain fungi and mytes have a chance to grow more/stay around longer and effect the bees numbers.

Raving is so damn expensive now....

even if i a rave is free i spend like 30 bucks on gas atleast (because people don't like to chip in for gas even when a beezy is driving a mini van)

I can't wait till I get my motorcycle...will be kind of hard to mob for raves but I'll work it out....as long as I can get a fat Momma Shorty decal on the side of it, it will be all good.

I'm totally down for some farm livin btw

You are telling me! To throw a rave is FUCKING insanity! you have to attend a million events to promote and it's hella gas money. Every one tries to keep raves as cheap as possible but honestly the more gas goes up the more money raves cost a promoter in terms of plane tickets and comping gas money. Raving takes some major financial dedication.
