It disturbs me how quickly you turn.

I don't even think you actually believe the things you say. The void you are trying to fill has a hole in the bottom and no amount of effort dedicated to persuits that are untrue to yourself will ever fill it.

Two months ago you felt pretty good about yourself for throwing some events, took a lot of shit for it more or less honorably. But now you are acting just like the people you so vehemently opposed weeks ago.

In less than a year you have gone from ultra plur believer to jaded name caller. Who the fuck are you really? With such a head spinningly quick reversal of your opinions, I am guessing that you don't know either.

One piece of advice, if you'll hear it. Action follows thought, and right action follows right thought. Think about who you want to be, how you want to be seen and treated, then act accordingly, treat people that way and you will attract those of a similar mind.

Even if you were at best naively bumbling and good natured before, this current trend seems to be a move totally void of even the most convoluted logic and at least ignorant of your own experiences in recent months. You are only proving many of the stingging remarks recently aimed at you to be true. At least when you were fucking up and defending yourself you were maintaining some dignity.

Fucking dissapointment.

I forget who it was, but some character in a book once said:
"Let he who is without sin throw the first stone."

While tensions are high on this lil ole message board, I'd just like to remind people that words on the internet should not be the basis for turning on anyone.

If you care about someone, why not talk it out with them and see if there cant be a compromise?

Frankly, you are not aware of the personal situation between the two of us and what conversations have gone on and cannot presume to know what has or has not been said. And as a matter of interest, it is those conversations and my concern for him personally that have made me decide to post a public statement about it. In fact it IS important to me, for whatever reasons, what happens to him.

No one is perfect, I do not expect that at all, I am not "without sin" but I AM fairly consistent and trying to do right by myself and others. I just read his decisions of late as a way to deflect the attention from himself and to be a part of something.

It is dissapointing to watch someone give up, and that's what I see. I'd rather have a group of loser friends who are at least earnest than a group of people who just say what they think I want to hear. The fact remains, if you have been paying attention, there has been a 180 degree turn in his attitudes in a really short period, and that begs consideration.

I'm don't give a damn if you approve of my methods, I am trying to reach Alex. Sometimes being a friend means being harsh and direct.

I think its entirely possible to turn 180 degrees in just a short time without it being a flaw on your character. It could be a matter of personal mind changing experiences. I don't think that guy is retarded, and in my opinion handed the earlier flaming like a pro, which leads me to believe that maybe he was full of shit before, and now he's not.
