On haight there are a lot of places but the best one by far is TRUE... helle sweet ass clothing there(they have one for men and one for women right next door(. Also the Adidas concept store above one of the shoe biz stores has some really cool stuff in sometimes, but not always. To find it go into the shoe store and take the glass elevator to the top. Also, the back right corner of Wasteland sometimes has some really cool used jackets. 15 bucks for stuff that would cost 50 brand new.
Lastly, this store is pretty much for girls, there is lululemon. They specialize in yoga clothing but their shit is totally dope. The pants fit perfectly(they will tailor them for you in the store for free), and often times have special pockets to fit cards in. The tops have bras build into them that actually work. The jackets are formfitting. A lot of them have finger holes already in the cuffs, are reversible and contain useful pockets. The fabric breaths hella good and resists sweat. And everything comes in a multitude of bright colors as well as black etc. The place rules. There is one in burlingame and downtown SF |

My belief is one should only pay a lot for clothing if you can't make it urself. A truly dedicated raver already makes all the shit they have at Piedmont's on their own. i would never pay 40+ bucks for booties etc. You can and should make ur raver fits urself. This isn't to say that piedmonts isn't cool, rather you should just go inside and get inspiration for things you make urself.
also, kidrobot it the most overpriced store ever. Yes, some of their clothing is cool but fuck paying $150 for a jacket worth $50 that won't even keep you warm. Their shit isn't that cool. If i sound bitter its because the first time i walked in there i totally fell in love with a rainbow jacket they had, only to be horrified by the $200 asking price. fucking bastards...it was cool but not that fucking cool ps. if any of u want to get some really cool clothing i suggest mudsharkstreetwear.com. I get all my fav shit from there or lulu. Glyphics, dollface clothing, fiction, TPHS, snug and KITCHEN ORANGE are just a few of the kick ass designers they offer. Sadly you can't get any of these designers in the states. sorry for the long ass rant but i'm drunk and i love clothing... |

if youre gonna be in the east bay at all you should check out Upper Playground, its a pretty sick store, think of it as a Graffiti art mixed with LRG, at a relatively affordable price
