i got a chance to meet a few djs at mesmerize and i realized that one certain fellow was totally against this new age rave scene and the happy/hardcore genre cause of the kandi kids. i couldnt really discuss the matter too much cause he obviously didnt want to hear it. i thought godamn hes stubborn but i dont know im sure hes got his reasons being a raver since "way back before i was born" he says. hahaha id love to have a dime every time i heard that one. are other djs close minded like that and WHY? do other d&b artists really hate the kandi kids? but theyre like the rave mascotts sort of speak. and how can you speak of hate here?

Most junglists and kandi kids dont get along, i dunno, i love both hardcore and drum n bass, I love junglists and for the most part i love kandi kids(real kandi kids.)

A few of my friends are junglists, i'm more of a kandi kid, and I get along with them just fine. They're some of my closest friends, and we rave together all the time.

Srsly tho, ive met some asshole trance & happycore DJs before, and likewise some hella chill junglists. Dont be a living stereotype. Have some logic & reasoning to why you dont like something rather than because youre "supposed to."

Personality & opinions are based on the individual, not by the rules of society that is linked with some genre of music and what you're "supposed' to believe.
