California ban on smoking in car while minors are present.

What do you think about this proposed amendment to Section 12814.6 of the vehical code? Personally I think its about time.. I always hated my mother smoking in the car, just made me smell like shit.

BUT thats my opinion.

(1) Existing law makes it an infraction for a person to smoke a
cigarette, cigar, or other tobacco-related product within 25 feet of
a playground or tot lot sandbox area.
This bill would make it an infraction punishable by a fine not
exceeding $100 for a person to smoke a pipe, cigar, or cigarette in a
motor vehicle, whether in motion or at rest, in which there is a
minor.
This bill would prohibit a law enforcement officer from stopping a
vehicle for the sole purpose of determining whether the driver was
in violation of the antismoking provisions imposed by the bill.

this is crap! if i can't smoke when my 16 year old brother and 3 of his friends are smashed into my car for a long car ride i will kill them all. haha

never, but as far as if youll get the $100 fine ontop of the fine for having bud or not is what im asking.

It mentions cigarettes and pipes, so I guess bongs are still good to go.
