About bringing items in to POP

I apologize if this has already been covered but im curious as to what the security will let us bring in to the cow palace. I want to bring in several E-Tard goodies such as unopened candy, gum, cigaretts, LED lights, glowsticks, gloves, and such. When i went to the Coolworld party at the cow palace in 05 they confiscated almost all these items and literally threw them into a large garbage can. WTF? So does anyone know how security is handling what you can bring in at this party?

Skills didn't really care at ETD Love, as long as those packs are unopened.

theres a thread if you go back far enuf. its called backpacks at POP or sumthing. i think it says sumthing about no candy or gum. i could be mistaken.

so i have to stick all that stuff up my butt just to get it in? Seriously i will grind what little enamel i have left off my teeth if i dont have something to chew on. A fresh piece of titty meat perhaps

you can bring you can bring in unopened cigarettes in they will most likely tell you to toss the open packs away unless they are chill security. put your lights and pacifier on a string and wear it around your neck and tell them it's decoration if they ask (they made my friend throw away his pacifier and lights at tiesto and TAO). vicks is okay just don't open them. unopen blunts..you should put it on your ear, they hardly see it.

lights, glowsticks, pacifiers, led's are all ok. cigarette packs have to be UNOPENED or they will toss them

NO GUM OR STICKY CANDY, NO PENS or MARKERS -- NO STICKERS. - will reitterate that again.... very very expensive for us to pay to have that cleaned up, and the venue will not be happy and the BILL for it is not very nice.



PLEASE RESPECT THE VENUE SO WE CAN CONTINUE TO USE IT IN THE FUTURE. There's not that many places where we (SKILLS) can throw an all ages massive for everyone to enjoy. Cow palace isn't getting torn down, so we'd like to keep bringing the all ages crowd out for our events =)

Also.. the security team that's at the cow palace now, is not the same crew that was there during the coolworld parties. The bad crew is all gone

Thanks for the details guys. And hopefully no police with gaurd dogs to greet you as you walk out of the party all high and sweaty, and googly eyed at this one. Nothin kills your good vibe quite like that.
