Holy shit.

I knew Shawn. We grew up in Grass Valley. We were in little league, martial arts classes, and later, charter school together.

I didn't even know he died. I just checked theunion.com to find it happened back in february... His folks own the computer shop across the street from the Nevada County Fairgrounds.

I guess I'm gonna have to attend and pay my respects.
