roomates.com is for the desperate people that will say anything just so they can pay rent. A few firends of mine tried it and ended up being sorry, because their new roomates misrepresented themselves in the ad. They were nothing like the ad said. One said he liked to keep a neat house, but wasen't overly clean, and he turned out to be totally OCD.

ouch, i didnt say it was perfect. but i interview the fuckers u cant just go in n say ok... hang out with um for a while. chill in their pad find out what there like. moving in with ravers or friends usually isnt the greatest idea either cause ur gonna get into fights n all hell will break loose. i prefer not to roommate but ill be stuck doing it in a few months too lol good luck to ya.
