No offense to Grape Ape or anybody else for that matter but this party does not signify that "the rave scene" is coming back to OC. Look at the line up and the price for this party. This party does not qualify as a rave. This is a "music festival" for all you new-to-the-scene kids that don't know what a real party feels like.

Hey everybody it's Richard (Grape Ape).
I have been reading some of your comments, and it's all good. I am really psyched to be able to bring this back to Orange County in a big way. I think together we can bring this scene back to Orange County in a healthy, more positive way. There are a couple comments I would like to ADDRESS #1. Cost of events seems to be a issue. First of all does anyone really know how much money it takes to do an event the proper way, with Safety, Legal, Liability, Business Sense, Responsibility, Integrity, Insurance, Preparation, Organization, I could go on. It takes a lot, and I have been working on this event for the last 8 months. Cost vs. Value. I have been known throughout the years as giving a lot, and I am not going to stop know. As for the scene, the titles that you want so badly to use like "RAVE, or UNDERGROUND" these terms cannot be used anymore because of Legalities involving yourself with such recreational activities. Sorry, but if you want to be able to do anything like this in our country nowadays those words are not to be spoken, or referred to as such. Move to Europe if you have a problem with it. As a Promoter/Producer of some of the most memorable, finest events in Southern California, I can say that when your out there looking for creative, never before used VENUES you have to be PROFESSIONAL if you want to get anything accomplished. #2. As for the SCENE is concerned, I know better than anybody what it WAS, and WHERE it should go, and WHAT to do in order to achieve this VIBE everybody needs, and wants. Again I am looking forward to seeing a lot of very happy people on August 25th.
