Lots of option for houses music in town. Trance, not so much. Puff Lounge on Cambridge & Flamingo is a cool 24 hour spot for house music. It's a nice place with reasonable drink prices. If you missed Dubfire (from Deep Dish) this weekend, it was a good show with nothing but locals hanging out to good music. Their late night special is $60 bottle service. That's $60 for a premium bottle of booze and a hookah. You can't get that anywhere on the Strip.

ON Thursdays, there's Soulkitchen at the Red Room Saloon on West Sahara. Really cool vibe and great house music. They have drink specials, but expect about $4 a drink.

We have a nice lil scene growin i dont know wat these guys are talking about!

I've really only been in the rave scene for about a year but when i first started there was nowhere close to wat it is now...

and i go every weekend and the ravers are my family i love all those kids haha

i met some of my best friends at the rave along with my gf and the scene out here just keeps getting bigger and bigger...

new people every week! i LOVE it! haha

i mean the raves out here are NOTHING like out in cali but they are still pretty amazing! and it will only get better! d[o_0]b

Up here in Reno, we have a pretty tight knit scene.

I'd say that most parties get from 400 to 1200 people at them...depending on the gig.

Overall, Reno's ravers are close to each other. They watch out for each other.

Reno usually has a rave every week or two. Summertime equals a lot of campouts which rock.

There is basically only 1 electronic club here...Bliss. It's typically 21+ but they do 16+ and 18+ nights as well.

The scene here is far from dead but rather gaining momentum and getting bigger.

If you're ever around Reno and want to check the scene out, hit up or normal message board @ [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] since most of our scene doesn't post on here.

garage Re: Question about your regional scene

This has been going through ma mind lately.
But I was wondering do you have to be a certain age to rave?
Or is most of the raves for all ages?

I'm from la now in vegas but the massives in la are definitely the way to go as far as I know. Around halloween there are a couple raves every year, Clockwork Orange and Nocturnal Wonderland if I'm not mistaken. It's been awhile but I started raving in '94.

I remember Kirby's dreamland. Underground rave near the marshmallow factory January 1999, underground rave, 3 rooms no problems. I remember The CandiE Factory vividly from 99-2003 I think. Good times. Raving @ China Town mall on Spring Mountain! Damn I miss that shit. I miss Chad!
