I mean I find it ridiculously sketch how people get on RL with 1 post and actually believe one of us to give them a ride to an event. Even if they were not police, what kind of idiot would accept a ride from a total stranger oniline?

I like your logic and yes anyone with a brain will suspect 1 post people and less than 4 friends. Even people with 800+ posts are suspect for asking too many questions and details you would think that if they were really into parties they would know by now and not rely on ravelinks to find info.

But seriously, use some judgment. Not everyone is a creeper and not all people with thousands of posts are totally trustworthy. I get so tired of people crying about nubs saying they are cops. Imo, I really don't think cops care enough about our peasley little forum and I can say that cuz a few of my cousins are cops (haha its kinda a tradition to buy em donuts when they graduate their little training gig). They really do have huge case loads with a lot of paperwork and don't wanna bother with little stuff like this. Seriously, would you if you were a cop?? Wouldn't you wanna fry bigger fish than a bunch of kids talking about gettin some cool matchin tees?? We were all new people here at one time, and we've come a long way. Sometimes in life you gotta just have a little faith and hope for the best. Other than that, just keep your life legit and then u really really don't have anything to worry about. It's all pretty simple.

Unless said person lives in the middle of nowhere and wants to hang out with the "cool kids", That's essencially how I got my current friends, I feel comfortable trusting people for the most part, probably because im bigger than most people, so im not easily threatened especially if they were my passenger...

There are times I think I'm the only raver that likes the police. When the shit gets real, there the ones that are going to be protecting me.

cops don't really post as much as they read, i'm pretty sure they don't post at all and just log-in as a guest... however, it is fact that the cops do read. cops read the flyers for up-coming events, cops read unnet, cops read ravelinks, cops read myspace, and the list goes on. i have about 4000 friends on myspace, i bet at least 2 are cops! cops need to stay hip to the lingo/trends kids use... undercover cops don't come to parties acting like candy kids, they come to parties looking like dope-heads. cops don't come to parties trying to gather info, by that time the cops have all the info they need and they're in place to take people down.

they're not gonna ask for a ride to 'bust' you, they're gonna come to your house with swat and a warrent to bust you. (not saying that giving total strangers is always a good/bad idea)

big shows always have undercover and uniformed cops on duty, the same holds true for concerts of your favorite bands, etc etc etc. working with the police is far better than working against them... cops will help keep your ass in check so your party is able to continue and the fire marshall doesn't shut you down.

What ever yall are doing wrong to be afraid of cops... Stop doing it!
As for myself I am scared of them when I'm driving because my car is so smooth sometimes if I'm not paying attention I will be speeding, but other then that there here to serve and protect.
