Oh yeah - I had a wonderful time standing in line in below freezing weather on ice for well over an hour to get into a rave that was 2 degrees warmer than outside, and an even better time when I inhaled mace, and got kicked back out to the cold at 2 am, still struggling to breathe.
I didn't get that good of a vibe from strangers either. I was running around, blowing bubbles, being friendly and stuff and very few people reacted at all or nicely. It's weird to feel ignored or shrugged off at a rave. My friend was on the brink of passing out, and she asked some girls for a little bit of the water they had very politely after telling them the condition she was in, but they just called her a bitch. I can't call it a complete disaster, because seeing a bunch of familiar faces and finding a few new ones was nice, but it was pretty damn close to a complete disaster. I can't stop thinking about the people who got sprayed directly with mace, I saw a lot of them in the back throwing snow into their eyes - I can't imagine what that would be like rolling. My friends and I were told by cops and security guards that there was a shooting at some point as well, did anyone else hear that? Wow. Mace at a rave. That's a shame shame shame. Oh and by the way, I know a lot of people were pissed that they shut it down, and yeah that's really lame and nobody wants it, but please realize that, considering the circumstances (ie: lingering mace cloud), it was better for everyone's healthiness and happiness to get out of there. I couldn't stop coughing until I got into fresh air. |

they started maceing people because a big group of about 15 girls got into a fight and they had to clear it up sucks that it got shut down early though i was having a good time. i feel bad for all the people who didn't even get in though like my sister because i don't think they can get a refund for it

Okay, the line thing sucked, for real. But after waiting in line at Woodwork, I was ready for anything...
I didn't encounter any angry strangers, like some people are talking about. I actually thought everyone there was pretty plur-a-riffic and nice. I saw lots of familiar faces and met a bunch of cool people new to the scene. I had a ton of fun. I really didn't know what happened until this morning. I swear, the rumors buzzing around everyone made me think of middle school. I guess some people can't just realize that a rave is not a KEGGER. Raves are above the animosity and violence of everyday teenage rubbish; they're supposed to be an escape from reality. It's ridiculous if people are going in and not expecting to be bumped into a million times. I guess it's your own decision if you share your water or not but I think the people who are true to the scene share it, because they know what it's like to be overheating and not have a dime on you. All in all, I thought this party was awesome (until the gassing). They did the best they were capable of, and it's not their fault some people can't handle their shit. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. ![]() |

I had a great time, for a majority of the night. I didn't really like the vibe I was getting from most people. There was even a guy there with a fuck u t-shirt on, it's just annoying to see that when you're rolling. I also saw people physically fighting and bitching a lot. I thought raves were supposed to have better vibes, and nicer people, it's only my second one and so far it's a lot different then I anticipated. There were a few people that were just as happy as I was but it wasn't to prevlent.
Luckily I wasn't in the room when the mace went off, but when I went through that room to leave it was aweful. I probably would have left weather they turned the lights on after that or not. |

Yea most of the night was freaking awsome then i started to get the wrong vibe form people. Also i though people went to the rave because it was going to be a big rave but it was great for the most part until they closed it down...
i liked it tho |

Yeah, massives have a tendency to attract people from outside the scene, which usually means there are a lot of kids just there because they want something to do on a Saturday night. That's what I kinda don't like about them..

i think the night was awesome... bet a lot of great people... and this was actually the rave that gave me back my faith in the scene... cause lately they've all sucked... considering the idiocy of people i had a great time... a lot of things went wrong like by the time i was done deepfrying and ready to dance my glowsticks were with other people... couldn't find people i was looking for... blah blah blah... but... it was good fun... wish i had more pics from it though
