It’s early 2010 and Will Holland, now 27 has just released his 4th compilation; the third in the critically acclaimed ‘Digitally Enhanced’ series, whilst his world renowned label, Enhanced Recordings has hit 100 releases.

2005 was also the year that Will graduated university with a 2:1 in Event Management and a 1st in his dissertation ‘The changing face of the UK super-club’. Upon submitting his work and CV to Gatecrasher, Simon Raine, founder of the world’s most famous trance club appointed Will in charge of the promotions and marketing for their flagship club in Sheffield; Gatecrasher One. Will went on to run sell out events with the likes of Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Roger Sanchez, Above & Beyond and Erick Morillo. A residency later followed, which saw will feature alongside the biggest names in the world, and further established him as one of the leading UK DJ’s, with a fantastic ability to play warm up or peak time sets.

Not content with just making and playing music, Will founded Enhanced Recordings, also in 2005. Now regarded as one of the leading imprints of the scene, Will has amassed a group of wonderful young talent and more established artists to create a label with consistent high quality and a forward thinking approach to the direction of the music today. Little over three years later, the label has spawned 4 sub labels; Enhanced Progressive, Enhanced Limited, Enhanced Black and Enhanced Digital, as well as 3 stand out compilations and is now within touching distance of the magic 100 mark. With consistent support from the world’s dj’ing elite, regular appearances on the largest compilations and substantial ‘Tune of the …’ accolades from the key magazines and radio shows, the label that has ‘gained a lot of respect in a short space of time’ (I-DT Magazine, NL) has been making ‘a good case for its position at the head of the UK trance table’ (Mixmag) and is now ‘one of the most famous trance labels today’ (Armin van Buuren- ASOT).

The Enhanced Recordings Radio Show, hosted by Will has now been syndicated to many of the leading internet stations, such as DI.FM, ETN, Afterhours and pulls in 10’s of thousands of listeners each month. Will has also made several guest appearances on the UK’s largest dance music station Galaxy FM, and provided several guest mixes on Above and Beyond’s huge Trance Around the World Show.

2007 saw the launch of a new chapter in Will’s dj’ing career when he teamed up with some old friends to launch Digital Society, a brand new concept in his home town of Leeds. The monthly night, now having celebrated its 3rd birthday with a outstanding event at the O2 academy Leeds has featured the cream of the nu-breed and the more established trance artists and has been dubbed the ‘saviour of UK trance events’ and ‘the Holy Grail of Northern clubbing’, not to mention ‘Trance Club Of The Year’ by Mixmag. With worldwide tour dates, Digital Society Recordings (a new sub-label of Enhanced and managed by Will) and their two compilations released already, this looks like another rosy chapter in the story of Will Holland.

Pearl’s love affair with the dance floor began almost a decade ago when she was travelling across the globe, in search of new sounds and that perfect clubbing experience.

She has partied at the best clubs and been influenced by some of the finest DJs of our time. Having grown up surrounded by music and around vinyl collecting parents who themselves were a part of the Goa music scene back in the 70s; it isn’t hard to see why music had such a major influence on her.

Having realized early on that music was her life’s answer, she has since pioneered the cause of electronic dance music across the Indian subcontinent.

To try and describe Pearl’s style of music wouldn’t be doing her justice. No two performances of Pearl are the same. As she evolves over time, so does her music. We could introduce Mo Shic in many ways, but none of them would be enough to describe this unique & diverse artist from Israel. He’s been touring the world for many years and has established an amazing name for himself as a great performer and an extraordinary studio artist.

Northern Israel, Haifa (1977), Moshic Shlomi is born. A man, whose name thrills millions of progressive House fans today, He grew up in a family of musicians, but not everything in his life inclined cheerful singing.

At the age of 18, he was enlisted to National Service, where as a medic, he had to deal with death everyday. Soldiers brought from Lebanon were dying right in front of his eyes. Continuous suicide attacks and living on a time bomb made Moshic understand, what the most important thing in life is; to seize the day.

When he finished paying his debts to the country, he decided to devote himself completely to electronic music. He fell in love with progressive, which wasn’t too popular at that time in Israel. He was handing out his mixes wherever he could, but the scene ignored his “too dark” style. Disillusioned, he moved to New York – the city where John Digweed and Sasha were spinning records in Twilo, and Moshic’s progressive darkness finally found a susceptible breeding ground.

Moshic released his first singles under the Argonout guise. Argonout (Aka Moshic) is Moshic’s first project and got releases threw Cyber records (NL).

Moshic started to conquer the dance scene worldwide. However the true fame and publicity came with the “Nightstalker” production.
“Nightstalker” was included in Danny Howells’s “Nocturnal Frequencies 3” and Jimmie Van M’s “Bedrock: Compiled & Mixed" compilations. When “Dj Magazine” announced the tune as the “underground hit of the year”, nothing could stop Moshic’s carrier to expand.

The Moshic mix for John Digweed’s broadcast on Kiss 100, was marked in history. Since then – December 2001 – Moshic has constantly emerged from the underground and finally became its ambassador.

Every day, every week, every month masterpieces like “10@ZE” or the remix of Memnon’s “Locutus” were produced. Year after the Kiss 100 broadcast his “Distorted Patterns” compilation was unearthed. Progressive fans went down to their knees and Moshic was asked to do the Essential Mix that was broadcasted in February of that year. Soon after that his mix was added to the “Dj Mag”’s April issue. This set as well as the Essential Mix, mostly included tracks from not widely known Middle East artists and the world was left without doubts – Moshic is a genius music producer!

In an interview for DjMag he said: “My main ambitions are to export different kinds of productions that will get special attention on the dance floor. I dislike average music and I'm known for producing with perfection. And I will not go the easy way and sample other people works, 100% Moshic and not a cent less.”

A few listenings of his productions or sets are enough to fully understand what the author means. If not remixing, he very often edits the tracks he plays to give them the touch of his unique style; the style filled with darkness and curdling blood energy. The body meekly obeys the perfect sound and fulfills itself in dance, it doesn’t freeze the body.

After more than 100 original releases, hundreds of live international performing around the world, moshic based his name as one of the best progressive house artists in the world ,his unique sounds and the middle east elements he is featuring in his productions made him famous with his own dark style ,
