Verizon

I was content with the slow 3Kbps dsl connection Verizon up until mid november 2008 .. thats when i ordered FIOS.
Around mid-December i found out that FIOS wasnt available in my area. Oh well .. right?
So some early January .. my internet *stops*. Im left wondering 'wtf' and checking my network and the outside network for any sort of digital talkage to the outside world. Nada.
I borrow my neighbor's service for the night since it was the weekend and big 'ol Verizon Communications cant have tech support working that late. Bah.
.. long story short .. they never removed the cancel order on my dsl after my FIOS was denied, and various server issues after my accounts' termination forced me to close that account and reopen another one in late February.
My service is restored - for 13 hours - on march 5th before quickly forcing me to commandeer my neighbors barely-secure network.
NOW - after countless phone calls and tweets about how shitty Verizon is - i restored my service by calling the Verizon tech support and telling them exactly what needed to be done to restore my service.
Honestly .. why don't companies listen to thier tech-savvy customers and/or at the very least hire some competent support workers.
Quality over quantity.
