i opened the alesis mmt8 up, the one that i was having issues with the buttons being sticky and not working properly
the circuit board on the left of the pic is where the contacts on the buttons press, the contacts on the circuit board were super dirty, so i used qtips and some rubbing alcohol to clean it up
after reassembling, all of the buttons were much more responsive, they work pretty much as they should, when i press PLAY now, it no longer stutters and hits PLAY 5 times in a row super fast, and when i press the STOP button, it actually stops instead of stopping and continuing over and over again very quickly, lol
