My Synopsis of Ketamine
Posted 8.7.2008 at 2:19 pm by Psilo
This will be the foreward of Karl Jensen's Second Version of his book on the entire world of Ketamine, "Ketamine: Dreams and Realities". It's the most successful book based on the drug ever released, and the follow-up should be in stores by early 2010. My submission was picked #1 out of about 800 who sent their own writings in.

Ketamine Synopsis

It's dark and serious yet alluring. It's a drug that is never afraid to show you the truth to all of your life's choices, as terrible or as beautiful as they may have been. It can make you feel powerful and mentally content with your position, or it can exaggerate the pain and true reality of situations you'd never usually think about. Ketamine does not care how you're feeling psychologically.. it doesn't care if it makes you happy, or if it makes you scared.. it plays off of your own internal thoughts as they are and throws a twist on them to make you analyze things as if you were not from this world. You can transcend from the normal, everyday "you", and take a mental vacation from a 3rd-person perspective. It can mimic death and loss of ego, or expose the inner-workings of how everything in the universe affects everything else and what YOUR role in that story has been.
It's the rebel of psychedelics.. the dark guy in the corner.. yet it can do things the other's cant, if you allow it to.

Ketamine produces effects
Like other dissociative anesthetics in low- to upper-middle dosages, its hallucinogenic effects are only seen against a background lacking sensory stimulation, such as darkness. ketamine is very short acting, its hallucinatory effects lasting fifteen minutes when insufflated or injected and up to an hour when ingested, the total experience lasting no more than a couple of hours.Posted 8.7.2008 at 7:34 pm by saucysoul
