first off, lightshowing is about art. how can you say 1 persons art is better then another? by judging it your completly disgracing everything that the art represents. this competition was created for immature assholes and is an insult to anyone that ever picked up a glowstick with the intention of creating something beautiful visually. if you want real lightshows, watch a glowsticking.com circle. its friendly gathering of artists showing their skills in a non competitive friendly way.
secondly, how can you compare free hand glowsticking to poi? or freehand photons to an orbit or gloveshow? i mean i could just bring my glowstaff and completly wipe out the entire competition because there is no other lighttoy known to man that creates better patterns and glows brighter and as wide.
not to mention...who is judging this? someone that actually knows all of the technical moves and can make fair assessments of if theyre executed correctly? or some etard that says 'OOOOOOO PRETTTY'. i mean ive seen some pretty sick free hand glowsticking be completly ignored by people because they dont find it interesting, when they have no clue how much practice an talent it actually takes to execute those moves. they just see poi and go OOOO THATS BETTER OOOO.
