jungle came before "drum and bass", but its like one genre to me now, and drum and bass is usually 160-180 beats per minute, where as breaks are slower. both drum and bass and breakbeat have the "broken" beat rather than a constant 4/4 beat. drum and bass and breaks offer way more complex beats which is why i prefer it over house or trance, and respect it so much.
i probly sound confusing.
