Default Re: Fresh vs Beatdrop

I'm not voting.

I think BOTH crews both have good points & bad points about them. Every crew does. Its when a crew has NO good points whatsoever that they should be called out on.

BDM i really like because they show alot of heart towards both the scene, and giving people something new and different from the average cookie-cutter lineup. They take alot of risks with bringing out new headliners, and i really admire that.

Granted, they're still a relatively new crew. I went to Uprise and it was tight while it lasted, but it was lame that it got shut down early (unavoidable and out of their control, i know).

FRESH knows how to PROMOTE their parties. They got a great reputation under their belt and definitely know how to pack a house and put on a great show.

Only thing i dont like is the cheezy/mainstream headliners like 4strings, Alice Deejay, George Acosta, Global Deejays, etc. Sure it may fill a house (with posers or teenybopers) but sometimes a little cheeze is a nice thing.
