randomly at this restaurant/club in Carlsbad called Ocean House. We were the last ones left in the parking lot after the place kicked everyone out. And this place is really random by the way, playing top40/hip hop for a crowd that was primarily military. My friends dragged me out to this place as I was very reluctant to go at first. We had just finished having a couple cigarettes in the parking lot when him and DJ francis just roll on out. It was pretty low profile for them since no one at the place seemed to know who they were. Anyways to make the long story short, I ended up talking to him for about ten minutes about his set at EDC and various tracks that he was dropping that night. I asked him if he was still residing in Washington and it turns out he lives in Carlsbad now, right down the street! I asked him when he's gonna be performing again and he said, "I better see your ass at JuJu Beats." Anyways, super cool and totally down to earth.
