It's true: Jade is - hands down - the best
Absinthe you can get. The coolest thing about Jade is that the haven't limited
themselves to just one particular Absinthe style in their recreations:
they have produced a few, and they are all worth the steep price.
Edouard was completely perfect...almost too perfect...in the sense
that I expected there to be some kind of flaw, but there weren't any.
I've heard (not read) that the Nouvelle Orleans is remarkably good, as well as
the Verte Suisse. I totally have to try the PF 1901 you mentioned!

And the Absente I refer to is the one sold at BevMo. It isn't real absinthe:
it fits more in the category of a Pastis. Speaking of which, I have tried quite
a few different kinds of Pastis, looking for one that even came close in matching
the real Absinthe taste/quality/experience..
I have only found one that came close, and it wasn't close in taste primarily, but in the quality and experience factors. It was different, but extremely good!
It's called Henri Bardouin Pastis.
You can find it at specialty liquor stores.. I'm very serious: I HIGHLY suggest trying this brand out. Soooooo good!!
