Bay rap is dope, actually rap was my first love back in the early 90's. Love me some 2-pac, Too Short, E-40/The Click, GLP, Mac Dre, Dre Dog (refuse to call him nikatina), IMP, Spice-1, Yukmouth, Messy Marv, GUCE, Mistah FAB, J-Diggs, Zion-I, Heirogyphics/Souls of Mischief, and many more.

Hit www.bayontop.com for a lot of free bay shit. just make sure you post on their boards or they'll boot you after a bit.

you're comparing two different styles.

the only reason why mac dre is put above 2-pac is because mac-dres death was a bigger impact on the bay area rap scene than 2pacs was.
