This member is the original thread starter. raver We are the music makers, We are the Dreamers of Dreams.

So lets dream people.

All I hear nowadays are about the times when "raves where raves," where people used the term MASSIVE and meant it. Well I'm sorry i'm young enough to have just missed the boat on that one, but my question is this:
WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO HAVE A 20,000 PERSON MASSIVE IN THE CITY OF CHICAGO BY THE END OF THIS YEAR?

I don't want to hear it can't be done.
I want people to ask why it hasn't been done yet
.
What artists/dj's/genres would draw the most people?
There's 8 million people in this city alone. Congress theater has frequently sold out with just a few main headliners and really not much production.

Another thing i noticed is that many of these production/promotion "companies" are really just one person. Well obviously that puts a financial strain on anyone. Well what if, just maybe, Infrared, Seismic Bass, Source, Shake-it-Town, Alliance, M.I.A., Illmeasures, Custom Vibes, Trioxin, TFU, etc. put their differences asside and came together, not just to support their own crews but to make one truly awesome mind-opening religious unifying positive tribal dance-fest that we can all support?
If money is still a problem then we can talk with sponsors.

this is what i had in mind
