The current state of the scene is comatose on life support... awaiting the day when the focus is music not numbers. not arguments about genre's... but actually output and progression of quality events which inspire quality music to be heard and visualized. What happened to experiencing music.
And yes. I agree... DnB/Jungle has gotten the shaft over the years which I have seen first hand coming into the scene as a junglist. But alot of other genres are going through their hardships as well.
To everyone who is contributing to the scene and making it the most they can, I applaud you and you have my support. I give respect to all those who take those calculated risks to bring scene back. But to those who focus only on the numbers and that is all they see... along with those who also do not give respect to the scene as it should... well I am just left speechless and appalled. To clarify as well, I am not saying I side with anyone... I see everyones valid comments from each side. But in the long run... all this negativity is just a big turn off in general and leaves someone not wanting to go deal with all this BS. I'm not saying there was not drama back in the day, but someone how we all still got passed it as a community and celebrate the music we love week after week after week...
