So there are a lot of new people and its of course a pleasure to meet the new ones and greet them to our world! so everyone, put your intro and pictures here so we can go up to you at a party and say HELLO!
Browse around these forums a little before posting questions that bring about nasty answers from people who are paranoid of NARCs or troll noobies. people will think you are a Narc if you ask certain questions. Post a Picture and/or a link to your myspace or plurspace if you have one. it really lightens the unknown factor.
more specifically, There is a special 'Drug related forum' for threads related to pre-loading, mixing, rolling, e, any other drugs, or experiences on drugs. keep that stuff there.
also, to check out info on upcoming events, go to the "Promoter boards" for either socal, norcal, or whatever region you're from/want to find out info for.
Keep drug/party info detail to a minimum if it is underground.
hopefully the vets will also give some advice for posting on these boards.
Here are mine:
TRY GOING SOBER or just

Raving does not mean you have to take pills or hard drugs. If you truly love the scene it will get even better once you roll but then continue partying without it, and still love every factor. You are in no way being pressured to do any drugs whatsoever. Do not ever feel like you have to in order to be doing it right, cause there is no right way. Just have fun and smile.
However, here are some excellent guidelines:
1)Monitoring your friends intake on pills or w/e intoxication they plan on partaking in that night.
2)Learn a new dance and try it out on the floor! who cares if you look bad at first? practice makes perfect!!!! Youtube.com gives you access to every dance move in the world and tutorials on how to learn them!!!! learn the Melbourne shuffle, liquiding, break dancing, pop and locking, tutting, even fucking candystomping!!!!!
3)Take lightshowing lessons from masters before you go out so you can perform for groups of people and inspire them to get better! Learn figure 8s, reverse figure 8s, inverts, traces, learn how to flow and do circular patterns instead of just waving lights around. and learn to take advantage of the multiple settings of inovas!
4)take the time to learn more about the music your listening to. ask djs for hot new tracks that you'll prob here at the parties!
5)get to know the crews! if your really feeling plurry ask them if you can help cleanup or do some part to give back! after all they did put all that work into bringing you a night of fun!
6)take the time to learn about the drugs YOU and your friends are intaking before you take them. do you really wanna put methamphetamine into your body? have you seen what that shit does to you?!?!?!?!??! also youll find great tips on protecting your brain so you dont turn into a complete retard and youll get to enjoy an even stronger roll with no comedown! you dont wanna be that guy/girl sitting down all night staring at everyone else having fun do you?!
heres some great sites to get you in the right direction

Now, WHO AM I?
My name is Klover, pronounced clo-ver(not k-lover!!) and Although I have only been raving since Lovefest 2007(SF) I have loved EDM since i was 8 or 9, danced to it at friends bar/bat-mitzvahs, and consider myself a huge rave whore going to all events ranging from renegades to carnival/massives like EDC.
I also attend events In both Southern and Northern California.
Favorite dancing Genre is Electro-House(anything house related too), UK hardstyle/core, GOOD trance, DnB....and really anything that gets me moving like crazy.
I don't stick to my favorite DJs or exile myself to one room.....but follow my feet wherever they go.
I also semi-make my own outfits...here are some from the past:
Galactic Funk(SF)
Turtle Power (LA)
Kandi Festival (LA)
Uprise (LA)

Alrighty enough of the pictures. If you wanna see my others ask.
I'm one of those people that everyone assumes is a scene kid, gets really enthusiastic and extremely happy yet I know I am here to stay for the long run.
I see raving as so much more than what it is said to be. Everything from a night of fun dancing with friends with drama left outside the door to a world that sees the universe and social perspectives in a whole new light and with tons of layers and connecting particles.
So...ask me any questions you want!
P.S. I'll be in SF until May 26th or so...then hitting up tons of SoCal events over summer.
