The Deep See crew is celebrating 8 years of pushing electronic dance music @ Sullivan Room with an impressive lineup!
Deep See was founded in May 2000 by E-MAN and LOLA. Deep See is currently housed at Sapphire Lounge on Manhattan's Lower East Side every Tuesday night. In 2007 they welcomed DJ SPIDER to join them as a resident DJ & Promoter & now every Tuesday they present a mix of Deep and Tribal House, Broken Beat, Tech House and Deep abstract sounds for all to absorb on the dance floor. Deep See has a devoted following with many local dancers, DJ's & many industry heads, that come out to hear new cutting edge electronic dance music weekly. They also welcome monthly international guest DJ's to the mix as well, so stay connected to catch your favorite DJ's when they come to town.
Deep See is an intimate, underground event. The vibes are reminiscent of a time in New York when clubbing was about freedom of the mind and soul, about meeting up with like-minded creative seekers, about stretching the boundaries of your perception, imagination, and experience. It is our goal to keep the spirit of the underground alive by providing a home for dancers, DJs, music lovers, and people of all stripes to join us in a weekly exploration of music, movement, and the alchemy that can occur when certain elements comingle.
Deep See is so named because we look deeply into the eyes of the future while remembering our immediate and distant past yet realizing that at any given time, we are but reflections of the present.
