I agree that what matters most is that you are responsible, know your limits, and handle your shit. Have respect for yourself, your friends, and those around you.
I love e-tards. They make me laugh and smile. Even though it is drug induced, they give off excess plurry vibes that make me warm and fuzzy. Of course they cuddle up on the dance floor and do a few annoying things, but I have come to terms with this since it most likely will not change.
I went to raves sober when I was 16 and had no knowledge of E or drugs for the most part. First thing I ever went to was Tiesto in Japan with my host brother and sister I was staying with. I had loved electronic music since I was 11 or maybe even younger having been inspired musically by video game soundtracks ranging from 8-bit to classical arrangements.
I think more people should try at least going to one event sober since it is such a drastic feeling. You will get tired more quickly and not have the same euphoria, but honestly you will have just as much fun.
