Multimedia Artist (Drummer, Producer, Professional DJ,Graphic Designer, Filmmaker). Played drums for DJ Logic on his solo debut release on Ropeadope records and toured the US with DJ Logic in 1999. Other drumming credits include Melvin Gibbs, Vernon Reid, Chocolate Genius, Biz Markie, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Marc Ribot, Joshua Redman. Lamont released his solo experimental debut on Wordsound recordings in 2000 and did follow up European tour in 2001. DJ Leon Lamont is a downtown New York Sub-leberty and International Renaissance Man. Movie screenings include Coming Up Shorts, St. Louis International Film Festival, 48 Hour Film Project. Currently Leon resides in St Louis Missouri and is ready with loads of new material to unleash on the stateside massive.
