It's laudable that you attend parties drug-free, and enjoy the music, but it's hardly necessary to make a point of it, and, in doing so, tacitly judge and disparage fellow ravers and attempt to elevate yourself.

This also pertains to the "cuddle-puddle" haters. I agree that the dance floor should be respected and kept clear for dancing, especially when the venue's packed, but compassion goes a long way.

The e-tards muddying up the dance-floor are usually new to the drugs and to the scene. Most don't know any better, both because they're rolling and because they're newness causes them to emulate the behavior around them to determine what is "acceptable."

I can't think of any veteran ravers that are guilty of cuddle-puddling it up in the middle of the dancefloor, infamous e-tards though excepted from this.

If a cuddle-puddle forms, just go up and ask, nicely, for them to move to the side and out of the way of the dancefloor so people can have more room to dance, and so they won't get stepped on by accident; my request has yet to be denied.

A lot of ravers, when approaching these kids, have it in their mind that they're going to teach these kids a lesson, and end up coming off as abrasive and rude (it's not so much the words themselves, but often the tone that betrays them). Naturally, these young kids get defensive, and the request not only fails, but creates an unnecessary animosity between the two.
i completely agree with you, but unfortunately i, myself, have been rude to these people, but mainly the ones who continue to spread in the middle of the dance floor. Although, i wish i could say that my requests have always been accepted. I usually get a rude look or a "whatever" from them, which in that case i dance uncontrollably and step on them and spin so i spray them with water or whatever other beverage i am consuming at that time.

Also, remember that this is ravelinks and the level grammar and intelligible conversation is seriously lacking on here so i highly doubt that many will get what you meant by your post.

Lol, i can see it now, someone looking at the computer going "self-aggrandizement?? laudable?? Thank god for dictionary.com cause i don't know what he's talking about" lol
