Hey everybody, this was my 2nd massive (4th rave). I went with my brother and we both had a kickass time.
In the beginnin, I was just feeling like I wasn't sure what to do. I explored the venue, danced and received light shows but for the first hour mentally I felt like I was still adjusting to the place. After that hour I was much more able to live "in the moment" and just enjoy whatever I was doing.
Outdoors was SUPER CHILL with the full-moon lighting the sky like crazy and everybody wearing skimpy shit cause the weather has officially warmed up.
Eye-candy is great and all, but when I saw any tastefully/classy dressed girls/women, I told them they look fantastic. Sometimes they really pull off the sexy-look without having to show all their skin and I find it totally awesome.
I relaxed and spoke to many, many people casually. I even spoke to the fire-fighter there and thanked him for looking out for all of us. He mentioned he had to deal with 2 OD's so far that evening (by 1am) which didn't really surprise me.
I don't think I met anybody who wasn't rolling which makes for an amazing crowd and very free flowing vibes, I like that, lots of love everywhere. That's what I love.
I didn't have any nifty lights to give light shows so I gave a lot of people head and neck massages. That was my first time doing that at a rave and I think people really enjoyed them!
Oh man! Some cool shit happened!!! I received kandi for the first time and got a raver name!!!
My raver name is
"Across The Universe" (cause i loved the beatles) Thank you whoever you were that did that, I wish I could remember all your names but you know I love you.
Upstairs was totally fucking tight. When they first opened the stairs, I was dancing and skipping joyously using like ALL THE SPACE I COULD. Time seems to stop in those moments.
The D&B was seriously amazing and while I'm not a giant-fan of D&B but whoever I heard between 10 and 11 was totally badass.
The water was "relatively-reasonable" @ $3 a bottle. I could sorta live with that.
The place never felt overcrowded at all, there was enough room for everyone to spread out. I really liked seeing the cuddle-puddle oceans form, hehe.
Personally the only thing that sort of saddened me was when it was around 3am and people started leaving. It sort of kills the mood for me when you notice the place is starting to empty out.
Man... I wish there was "more time" between 9pm and 4am. Anytime a rave is over, i'm always rolling very strongly still and I always wish i could stay there for a few more hours. Anybody else feel that way? I'm guessing if I go to Electric Daisy Carnival, since it's much longer, I will get all my satisfaction in one nice 12 hour long event.
And something else I noted, I would probably be more comfortable going to an 18+ rave because I'm 24 and I know some of these younger girls feel uncomfortable talking to a random guy who clearly looks older. Sometimes it's really obvious they're paranoid even if I'm briefly telling them something like "hey your hair looks awesome!" To me it seems the paranoia is irrational but then again, I'm not a girl and I haven't had to deal with creepy guys before so I can understand.
Anyway...i met lusid, showstoppa, barretblade, and whiteknight for the first time at the RL meetup too. The conga-line was dope. I hope to see more new and old faces in the future. Peace all!
BTW, 5HTP = Working good considering last night was the hardest I've ever rolled in my life and I have no crash at all like I've experienced in the past, I still feel like I'm rolling even now.
