I've been spinning hardcore for a while now and it's definitely not easy to come by. I guess it's called hardcore for a reason right? ;P
Skills is a great place to start.
When you are ready to move up and start importing from the UK check out
www.imorecords.com,
www.discogs.com marketplace,
www.nuenergy.co.uk,
www.juno.co.uk.
On a side note I have most of those records. "Raver Raver Raver" is just well.. cheese done wrong IMHO.
P.S.
THERE IS A LOT MORE TO HARDCORE THAN JUST UK HARDCORE. EXPLORE THE OLDER HAPPY STUFF.
I'd like to see more people supporting the older happy sound. Too many people just buy new records and mix them together. Just because something came out in 96 or 97 doesn't mean it still won't blow away the dance floor. I could go on forever about this but I will leave it at that.
Catch me at Through The Looking Glass for an oldskool happycore set.
Good Luck with the DJing and maybe I'll see you around!
