First and foremost, Jolan Ray is, without a shadow of a doubt, my favorite local dj, and thus, the decision to have him spin 10-11 didn't sit so well with me. That foo had me dancing so hard by 1am I was totally spent. Amazing set.
The Carlos Alfonzo set downstairs was pretty sick too. He was dropping some serious heat, and hearing "Satisfaction" was definitely a high point of the night.
It was great that there were so many people there! From the start to the finish, both floors were packed, and that's always a sign of a good party. At the same time, it was a little overcrowded, and as much as I wanted to boogie on the first floor to some house, it were just way too many people to move.
The crowd was considerably different than what I'm used to. This was the first party I've been to where I didn't feel like the only black guy there. I was really surprised to see so many black girls, and they were all so pretty too. In general, the ladies were looking damn good.
I met some really cool people last night too, and I think the reason I had so much fun was because of you guys. Sunshine, Darreal, Tom, Sam, Amanda and Evelyn. It wouldn't have been a party without you guys!
Thanks again Sunshine for the present and the Vicks! And whoever gave me that massage in the house room... my god that was the most amazing thing I've experienced in my entire life.
It was hella fun dancing with you guys. If you saw me or we talked, I was the black guy sporting either a blue sweater with yellow and teal stripes or a black shirt with a big ass W that said woot!, depending on the time of night, a black cap, tight ass jeans, and some blue, orange, pink, and black nike hiking boots.
