all these new sites that I never heard of suck at taking pictures. I also get kinda aggravated at tigger cause his ass takes some stupid pictures too. At least rukes takes pictures of the crowd and headlining dj. Instead when I look at tiggers website and all the other ones all I see are pictures of these kids drugged up out of their own minds. And it’s always the same people with new people every now and then. Is this what the scene is about? ravers to me go through phases within the scene. It’s like when you start all you care about is the music, and getting fucked up and having the best time of your life. But that’s fades quick which leads to just going to listen to the music and hope to have an alight time. but at that point in the rave scene phase you get soo sick and tired of seeing all these people you just made friendships with for the [past however months, all fucked up and not doing shit with their lives. Anyways sorry about the ramble, moogle got me stoned.

Anyone feel what I’m saying?

be on the lookout for my next recap thread on the sunday social.
sure I would love to take better pictures at times, but sometimes the equipment I'm using is so oh.. limited and the cost of it is incredible high, and expensive, care to donate me $1,200? that will get me some good lens, 2 lens in fact.. or 1 lens and good external flash--

but yes-- I do see what you mean by photos, same people, some of them do look fucked up, but truthfully what can you do? I mean, really, some people don't want pictures taken at all-- so I don't take pictures them, since I back off and accept that.

People rolling w/their back of the heads, well, sometimes, I try to avoid those shots, but sometimes I can't just hold their eye for them and have them to fix it..

its not as easy as it sounds..

Rukes takes amazing photographs because 1) he has awesome equipment 2) more experienced photographer I ever known to date for the scene. 3) if he gets paid for the events he goes to, then I can see why 4) hes just damn talented and I wish I can shadow his work someday, if he ever allows me.

Tigger takes good pictures because he takes the time to edit the photos and make them look real sharp and clean.. but of course its just like whaddupnow.. for some content

Whaddupnow (which I'm where at), takes mediorce to good photos.. just really depends if I rent lens or what not.. but as far the site, yeah it needs work, I'm sure Shawn knows of this as well.. and neither of us do work, and we are trying desperately to find ways to make the site better.

Now..

If you have $0 and starting off to take photos, I wonder hows yours would look like? will look like Rukes or will look like WhaddupNow's?

Either way, for all photographers for any special events such as these do the best and try our best to find the right moment for taking a picture.

Personally. I'm a nature photographer, and I had been in the scene before for taking photos for RaversOnly back in 2000-2002.. the scene has changed, cameras has changed, lot of things has changed over the years.

peace
