DOC MARTIN
SUBLEVEL LIVE feat.LILLIA

Doc Martin’s live sets truly bring people together the variation in his style of music is endless.

What makes him so different from the rest? A unique ability to spin everything from deep house vocals that have much depth and meaning to us all in some way, his funky tribal Bass lines mixed with threads of acid, his passive collection of classics rare records that are only to be heard at his gigs.

Doc Martin has developed the respect as a house DJ that so many of us admire. It is this respect that keeps him constantly touring, from New York to London, Japan and everywhere in between. He has frequently played and was a resident at such clubs as, Twilo (New York), Ministry (London) Back to Basics (England Leeds), Fabric (London) The End (London) Cielo (New York), Yellow (Japan), Ghost Bar (Las Vegas), Club 5 (DC)
Sound Bar (Chicago) Zentra (Chicago), Sublevel (Los Angeles), How Sweet it is (Los Angeles), Café Del Mar (San Francisco), The Love Parade (San Francisco), Remedy (San Francisco), Seven (Australia) as well as The Basement Jaxx & Daft Punk tour. And countless other shows.

Sublevel is a record label that Doc as a producer and writer has developed with vocalist and writer Lillia, whom previously based in Melbourne Australia recorded music with other Australian artists. Doc and Lillia decided they wanted to create there own events behind there record label based in Los Angeles.

In the Mink Room
Catalyst (Five Cent Jive Cartel)

Catalyst aka Cliff Wilks was raised in the hills of NC but woke up one day realizing that his mid twenties couldn't be experience in a backwoods shithole so he came to our Nation's Capital to drink his own weight in booze while doing whatever the fuck he pleases. One of the those things was to find the funkiest and jazziest tunes and share them with others so they too could shake their sweet sweet asses with him. This dancer turned dj doesn't care about much other than getting the fuck down and it shows when he's behind the decks... don't check him out unless you're prepared to be funked.

Charly C (Buzzlife | StrangelandRecords.com)

Buzzlife DnB veteran Muramasa has a dirty secret; A dirty, sexy, jazzy, funky little secret. Come hear what happens when he turns his normal junglist gusto into pure funk freaking, lust peaking, ass shaking, baby making bravado under his house alias ‘Charly C’.

Brandon Black (1200 Traxx / Flatpack Traxx / Clean House / My House Your House Radio)

Originally from D.C. Brandon grew up in the DC club scene of the mid and late 90's where he was magnetically drawn towards edm. Coming of age inside the legendary Buzz Party at Nation Niteclub, Brandon was exposed to the best dj talent in the world. This past year has seen Brandon playing in Miami, Philly, Baltimore, and NYC in additon to his home-turf of DC and he shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, with his new found a new love of production, he's just getting started. Built on a passion for the classic house beats of the mid/late 90's and sinister fetish for the jackin beats of today his tunes are sure to turn a few heads in 2008. Look for upcoming releases on 1200 Traxx, Dirty Boots, Cleanhouse, and Flatpack Traxx.

Miguel Lush (Mosaic | Shorty's)

Miguel Lush began spinning Colombia loft parties and raves at the early old age of fifteen years. His love for American funk music was calling to him and on his 20th birthday Miguel departed for the USA. By the age of 21 he had already built a solid foundation for himself in the Baltimore/DC club scene. By 26 Miguel found himself guest Dj-ing at most of Baltimore/Washington's dominant dance clubs and joined the exclusive roster of Mosaic resident DJs. Regardless of his thick accent and his weakness for tequila Miguel brings the funkier and jazzier side of House.
