The more renegades there are, the higher the chance of cops finding out. Thus, less spots to be used as well - and theres alot of great places that most of us dont want getting ruined.
Plus alot of renegades still happen these days........you just wont find any mention of them on rave messageboards (the way it SHOULD be dammit!).
Renegades are always fun though, a nice change in environment.
