WRONG!!!! Skilled dancers demand the best beats....that would be a motha f-ing break!!!!! Last time I checked, the beats come from our heads, not the other way around..............

Breakbeats, (and jungle/ Dnb/ 2step) all have a wicked under-beat, this raw rhythm and energy. Tunes come and go in fads, but a wicked beat is still a wicked beat 10 years later. Breakbeats draws people who really appreciate original and good music, it's also slightly underground so you really have to dig around (not buy some Ministry of Sound compilation CD) to find stuff you like. And once you get to that point, you develop your own style, and that's what makes people good dancers. For them, it's all about the music, and good music at that. Breakbeats has a lot of personality, it's not commercialized, overplayed and stuff you get bored of too easily.
Been raving for 9 years... and used to like all sorts of rave music, but now for a really good roll and crazy non-stop dancing, I need to listen to breaks! It's just the best kind of music to dance to. I even listen to it to work out to, and just on the go. It's not until I realized that my favourite style of music was breakbeats that I developed my own style of dancing.
