I'll admit I'm a fan of Tiesto as a DJ...I'm also a n00b here so take from that what you want. like him as a producer? not so much.
I've always been a fan of the harder styles...HT, HS, HH....and listening to his newest CD those tracks don't nearly sound as good as they did live...saw him in LA.
of course, he also had a 12,000 watt system to work with...so of course the kick was like a shotgun to the chest all night giving those tracks more of a harder feel.
his skills as a DJ (however little you think of him) are greater than his skills as a producer. no doubt.
