We are two DJ's who hail from California (one is actually a born and bred Kansan, and I lived out there for 6 years) and we are planning on a tour bringing our gear and renting halls and putting on parties. I can think of obvious spots, like Lawrence and maybe Pittsburg. But any other cities you might recommend? What we want to do is bring in a headliner for each show, and we'll spin and have open decks too. Prolly about $8 a head. Any ideas? We are def doing Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska and Iowa. But I cannot for the life of me think of anywhere other than Lawrence or Pittsburg to play.
