IF your not, then dont. youll end up hating life and your chain of command will probably look down on you like your a shitbag OR you'll just be emo a lot.

im still in the army right now, as a matter of fact, in iraq right now.

ill tell u the pros/cons about the army

pros:
1. steady paycheck
2. holidays off
3. free chow(if ur single)
4. extra paycheck(if ur married)
5. gain rank easily and faster than any other branch in the military
6. the ACU uniform is pretty niiiiiice!
7. hella good benifts (Tricare w/ everything if ur ACTIVE DUTY)
8. GI Bill (if ur going to school after the military)
9. Basic Training is fucking good times(youll look back on the days you got smoked and laugh, trust me)

cons:

5. waking up early (its not so bad once u get used to it)

tips before you decide to join:
1. have the most fun you can w/ all your friends and your family
2. take lots of pictures for memories
3. do drugs(before you actually leave to basic, they wont test you once you get there)
4. KIT w/ ppl because it will be hard to when your in the military
