lol, i tried doing the same thing buddy. i was on probation for a dui and was down on my luck at the time. recruiter told me since I had finished paying off the court fees i should be off probation and allowed to sign up! well, that was bullshit. I'm grateful now to have that time to realize "wow, joining the military would have been a really stupid choice for me." So now I straightened my shit out on my own without the need for an ego-inflated R. Lee Ermey type screaming down my my esophagus and I get to sleep in past 5am...
