Like I said in another thread "Happy" Hardcore is hardly even that happy anymore. Yes there is still lots o' cheese but most of the producers that make the happy stuff also make darker tunes. Most of the labels that have cheesy tunes also have darker stuff.
There is Hardcore that sounds like house, trance, has parts that are DnB, freeform, cheesy, dark, ect. Are we going to make seperate genres and forums for all of them? Hell no! It's ALL Hardcore!
