I don't hate drugs, but I still think that people should be able to be responsible about using them. Some people are not responsible enough to be mucking around with their brains, some are. I'm not about to make the call on who is or is not responsible enough.
Do what you will, but know what you do.
I used to do lots of stuff all the time because I could. That's a bad reason to do anything. Now, if I do anything, it is planned well in advance, obtained from a reliable source (read: chemist), and done with friends in a safe, comfortable, controlled environment. This happens maybe once or twice a year at the most. I am much happier with this arrangement and the experiences are much more cherished and memorable.
I personally don't hate drugs, I just hate people who don't respect them or themselves enough to do a little research.
Know your source, know your substance, know your environment, know your limits. These are the knows that lead to positive substance use.
