yalepac: That's a common misconception, but no. Marijuana is the most widely abused drug in the world. It's also circumstantially addictive, a unique property; the THC bonds with the fat cells in your body. Since most people a) just sit there, be it talking, playing video games, or watching TV and b) get the munchies, you're putting lots into your body that you aren't working off, which get stored as THC bonded fat cells. Now, what this means, is the more of these cells you have in you, the harder it is to do stuff. Whenever you perform any activity that's not sitting on the couch, you burn fat cells... And get high. And want to sit down. 'Cos you're baked. And what do you do when you're sitting down, bored, too tired to get up? Weeeeell, you spark up another jay... And the cycle continues.
