Really, if you know how to handle your shit, you won't have any issues with them. I have even spent part of a rave chatting with an undercover; talking music & hobbies & stuff. Totally cool dude, and I know how to handle that situation. I have yet to have problems with undercovers, but I'm also there for the music, not to get completely stupid.

2) Shit talkers. The rave scene is based on PLUR; right? A bit naive and idealistic, yes; but that sense of happiness, originality, and unity is what most of us dig about raves. We rave because we can be ourselves and we know that our fellow ravers are always happy to see us. The more attention we pay to the haters, the more power we give them. Ignore them; they will go away. Nobody likes sour grapes, so these people will fade from the scene, and the people who perpetuate PLUR & good vibes will stay on and make the scene stronger. I know how irritating it is to have someone talk smack about you (I've had my share), but do they really matter? I don't think so....

Peace, people.
I think your a little naive. All of the negativity is because of the federal goverment trying to outlaw raves. I don't know why nobody has questioned why their were police working security in conjuction with the spys on the floor. I am being literal when I say I saw atleast 100 agents harassing party goers. Would any self respecting promoter allow that sort of presence in their party and in their security staff? They would if they were under federal indictment under the Rave act. Under the rave act a promoter can be jailed for decades and fined many hundreds of thousands of dollars. So if you want to find out where all the negativity is coming from get on your computer and see if you can find some information on the RAVE act and find out how peoples lives are being ruined because the event they throw has techno music instead of rock and roll. There was never any laws made to stop the DEAD from touring. The Rave act specificly is targeted at events that have techno music, says promoters that have raves are equivalent to people who maintain crack houses and just playing a track that mentions any drugs makes them prosocutable.
