As we come back to the heart of the underground with what promises to be a magical evening, we're scoffing banana's for Vitamins, pulling on costumes, and making guesses where they're throwing it this time and how we could get there on five bucks. We meet up with masses of friends, trying to organise how to get to the mystery location; being the silly little ravers that we are - it is decided that we will walk from Olympic Park Station, because it's "really close". 45 Minutes later... and we can feel the bass pumping harder and harder under our feet.. the intensity begins to build, as the lights get bigger and brighter.... and then - we see it - FANTASIA!
As usual, security stamps, punches and tags us before turning our bags inside out, and patting us down. Ready for the ritual, i put my arms out and step up, and the guy laughs at me and says "Oh, you want a hug?" - He says because i am willing to be searched, i couldn't possibly have any drugs. Walking in, a stampeed of family surround us, as friends meet up with friends, they introduce them to new friends, who meet their friends, who realise they all know each other from some other rave anyway!
The music is pumping harder than ever, calling us to dance: and as i join in, the dance floor is giving it up in respect for the local DJs who pull together the best Australian rave going, all on their own. The night proceeds without fault, and no matter where you turn, you can only see masses of masks, costumes, candy and glowsticks, and people getting their freak out on the dance floor!
The vibe is HOTT, as the unity glows and manifests amoung ravers who aren't there for the lavish facilities or the craziest international lineup, but to enjoy the heart of the subculture on it's most minimalistic, basic, local level. A great night of production rounds out, the highlights were killer sets: Nik Fish VS Amber Savage, and Weaver VS Suae.

Sets for Download:
There's been a slight problem with the usual uploads available, Fantasia was not broadcasted as intended over local radio, and the local recorders both had trouble uploading. Technical errors that couldn't be avoided. Sorry guys.
