Capone – A. Style Baby AA. No Food – Test Recordings

tile: a. Style Baby / AA No Food
Artists: Capone
Label: Test Recordings
Catalogue: TEST012
Release date: August 2005

The illusive CAPONE is back with some heavy beats and even heavier bass for Dillinja and Lemon D’s Test Recordings. Premier DJ’s who have managed to get hold of ‘Style baby’ on dubplate have been caning it left right and centre for the past few months. Some of the artists include front-runner Andy C (Ram Recordings), double drop prodigy Mampi Swift (Charge Recordings) and the legendary Grooverider (BBC Radio 1), need I say more ……

Style Baby:
Style baby starts with a beatless intro, displaying some very well produced erie sounds and mastered strings that gradually fade to a silence. As if from nowhere a building drum roll leads into an unforgettable combination of ingenious synths, Capones trademark sub bass and a detonating array of up beat drums.
Capone hits back with another dancefloor killer.

No Food:
Capone travels back to his roots with a jazz fuelled intro. This steadily builds up into a rollercoaster of bass and drums, chunky beats cut through the mix as a resonating bassline runs below.
