Nocturnal Wonderland Pictures Nocturnal Wonderland by Insomniac Nocturnal Wonderland review Nocturnal Wonderland 2001 Nocturnal Wonderland 1999 Nocturnal Wonderland CD Mixtape Texas Nocturnal Wonderland Tickets For the past eight years on Labor Day weekend, over fifty thousand ravers have gathered in the Los Angeles area to celebrate the thriving dance community. The fine people of Insomniac Events have taken it upon themselves to spread the message that raves are good cultural events that do not promote drug use, as our government has been misinforming the public, but a beneficial way to promote and celebrate multiculturalism through the universal language of music. In a sincere letter to partygoers, Insomniac pledges to plan events that will pave the way for future generations by making their events the premiere extravaganza of raves that will always represent all that is p.l.u.r. with the help of a carnival-like atmosphere and thousands of open minded people for the best full-on party you can experience. The music and styles pressed onto this CD represent a juicy sample of the good beats you would expect to hear at a Nocturnal Wonderland event. The compilation was mixed by future techno hall of famer, DJ/Producer extraordinaire Dave Aude. If you do not know the talents of Aude, Nocturnal Wonderland may be a good introduction to one of his best uplifting and intense mixes yet. The tunes are well- paced, from the opening breakbeats of PMT's "Gyromancer " to the final meltdown of Slusnik Luna's "Sun". Aude uses all genres of dance music in his mix to form a mad arsenal that is explosive and beautiful, and unquestionably rocks something furious for seventy-four minutes. If your calling is hard house, then step up to East Coast Boogieman's sneaky sample of Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust" for a slamming version done Boogieman style called "Marrying Jane". Nocturnal Wonderland has many dance floor gems that have been causing chaos across the globe this year, including "Sputnik One" (by Stylus Trouble) and, my vote for track of the year, Futureshock's "Sparc". Also, I will be failing you if I do not tell you about the two hidden gems on the record that solidify the mix nicely, "Excel" by Christian Smith and John Selway and Selway's remix of Cable Recording artists Secret Society's "Stolen". Hands down, this is one of the best-mixed compilations out today! One people, one soul, one goal. Great mix!
